Check your tattoo design for AI-style red flags

BeforeInk cannot prove artistic intent, but it can isolate visible anomalies like disjointed lines, impossible geometry, and detail mush that will not translate well to skin.

Flagging structural anomalies

Many modern reference sketches are generated using AI engines. While they look visually appealing from afar, they often contain technical errors: feathers that turn into claws, lines that terminate into nothingness, or unsymmetrical circles. BeforeInk highlights these trouble areas.

  • Disjointed and floating geometry lines.
  • Impossible anatomy in skulls, animals, or human forms.
  • Unnecessarily dense zones that will blur over time.

What BeforeInk checks

Our diagnostic model runs an automated evaluation of design files, line segments, and spacing parameters:

  • Line weights: identifies outlines under 1.5 mm that run a high risk of merging over the years.
  • Gap clearances: maps micro-gaps and parallel lines to ensure shading does not bleed together.
  • Symmetry & anatomy: highlights distortions in organic details like skulls, feathers, wings, and joints.
  • Muscle flow: estimates curvature mapping to wrap the drawing naturally around joints and contours.
