Please do not upload images that include your face, nudity, private body parts, government IDs, medical records, or any information you do not want reviewed.

Identify visible design red flags, aging risks, density concerns, placement issues, and artist-ready questions
Create and deliver your report
Improve the user experience and reliability of BeforeInk

3. Uploaded images

Your uploaded images are used to create your BeforeInk review.

We do not publish your uploaded images publicly.
We do not sell your uploaded images.
We do not use your uploaded images in marketing without your permission.

Your image may be processed by third-party service providers that help us provide the service, such as cloud storage, AI model providers, analytics providers, hosting providers, and payment processors.

4. AI processing

BeforeInk uses AI systems to help review uploaded tattoo designs and generate structured reports.

AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or miss important details. BeforeInk does not provide medical advice, legal advice, tattoo safety advice, or a final professional verdict.

Always discuss tattoo design, placement, healing, safety, and execution with a qualified tattoo artist.

5. Legal basis for processing

Where applicable, we process personal data based on one or more of the following:

Your consent
Performance of a contract or pre-contractual request
Our legitimate interest in providing, securing, and improving the service
Compliance with legal obligations

For MVP/beta use, uploaded files may be deleted manually or automatically after 30 days unless you request earlier deletion.
